HELP BUILD THE
TIN CAN MENORAH!
Can we build it? YES WE CAN!
The Tin Can Menorah is a TZEDAKAH project to help feed the less fortunate in our community. It will be lit at the Chanukah Bowl and then dismantled for distribution.
DONATING CANS
Please donate as many canned food items as you can.
DROP-OFF
Cans may be dropped off at the Chabad Jewish Center until Friday, December 19.
Cans may be dropped off at the home of Mrs. Yvette Sedlewicz at 4759 N Waterfront Way, Boise, ID 83703. You may contact Yvette to coordinate donations or volunteer in the effort by calling 208-938-0744 or by clicking here.
Kosher food cans will be given to Jews in need and non-kosher food cans will be donated to the Idaho Foodbank and local homeless shelters.
Children that collect and donate 50 cans or more will receive a prize at the Chanukah Bowl.
Please collect as many cans as possible from family, friends and local supermarkets (many supermarkets are happy to donate canned food).
Canned pet food will also be accepted and will be donated to an animal shelter.
