Register your car free of charge and receive a free snack bag and balloons!
Decorate your own car and/or make signs (reflecting the themes of JEWISH PRIDE, FRONTLINE HEROES & FIRST RESPONDERS and PRAYER & JOY for patients and all of us!). Children are welcome to make cards for patients.
Parade will start 1:00pm at Chabad, 1803 S. Maple Grove Rd. in Boise. There, we will present "Cookies for Cops." We will then stop at Ada County Paramedics, St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Boise Fire Station, Boise City Hall, Idaho State Capitol, and St. Lukes Regional Medical Center. At some stops we will just honk for heroes and at others we will present with goodies.
Registered cars must be at Chabad by 12:15 PM to set up and get in formation with police.
This event is free of charge. Sponsors are welcome and appreciated. Registering your car will help us know how many snack bags to prepare and how many cars will be in the parade.
The Boise Police Department is limiting this parade to
20 vehicles
. Please register immediately to guarantee a spot in the parade.
(Other vehicles
might
be able to tag along, without police escort).
This is a great way to do to get out and celebrate Lag BaOmer and do an outdoor community event while staying safe and social distancing.
