About United Hatzalah

United Hatzalah of Israel exists for one reason - to save lives when seconds count.  United Hatzalah harnesses the collective power of over 3,500 professionally trained and certified volunteer medics (known as the Angels in Orange in Israel due to their orange vests) to reach victims of medical emergencies in under 3 minutes anywhere in Israel.   Our volunteers reach victims an average of 7 minutes faster than traditional ambulance services saving thousands of lives annually, and our services are completely free.
