Shanah Tovah!

Celebrate the High Holidays with Chabad.

This is a unique year. We will be hosting in-person, outdoor Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services. We are erecting an outdoor canopy tent for the High Holidays.

So far, you can register for the outdoor Rosh Hashanah Shofar Service. These exceptional services will be short and appropriate for all ages. You will feel at home. We are recommending this 30-minute, social distancing service for all families with children and for the elderly.

We are also holding a traditional Rosh Hashanah minyan on Sep 19 and 20 (very limited space, fast-paced Hebrew service). Please see the High Holiday Schedule for details and registration.

ALL HIGH HOLIDAY EVENTS ARE FREE OF CHARGE. HOWEVER, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL HIGH HOLIDAY EVENTS THIS YEAR.

What Are the High Holidays?

The two-day holiday of Rosh Hashanah is the head of the Jewish year, the time when G‑d reinvests Himself in creation as we crown Him king of the universe through prayer, shofar blasts, and celebration. A week later, the High Holidays reach their crescendo with Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement). Like angels, we neither eat nor drink for 25 hours. Dressed in white, we pray in the synagogue—united as one people, children of One Father.
