2020 has been a unique year.
Throughout it all we have been TOGETHER. Perhaps not ALWAYS in body, but ALWAYS in spirit.
Despite the challenges, Chabad Lubavitch of Idaho has ALWAYS been there. Supporting our frontline workers, finding creative and safe ways to celebrate and gather, spreading kindness with Be a Carrier signs, transforming First Fridays into A Taste of Shabbat, doubling up our Hebrew School under challenging conditions, expanding our reach to collaborate with international personalities – we have recognized that we must ALWAYS move forward.
And, we couldn’t have done it without you – without being TOGETHER in ways that we never imagined. Never imagined would be necessary. And, never imagined would be possible. TOGETHER, we have reinvented the meaning of community, interaction and spirit.
It’s a tribute to all of the wonderful people involved that we have ALWAYS been TOGETHER. And, that we will continue to be TOGETHER, ALWAYS.
Please join us and help us close out the year with financial stability and strength, so we can continue to ALWAYS be there for you.
We can only do this, as ALWAYS, TOGETHER. As ALWAYS, it is only TOGETHER with your support that we will reach our goal – and beyond.
We realize that some people are in a more difficult financial situation this year. In fact, we have been quietly assisting many in the community in their time of need.
This is why, if you are able to, your financial support is more critical now than ever before.
We are deeply grateful to our matching sponsors, who have stepped forward to help ensure the financial stability of Judaism in Idaho.
Running an operation like Chabad Lubavitch of Idaho requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While we work tirelessly, the day-to-day operating expenses of Chabad lie squarely on our shoulders. We believe every person deserves to participate in our community and programs. Rather than charging membership fees, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve. We do not receive funding from Chabad headquarters in New York. We raise every penny of our budget ourselves.
To that end, several generous donors have stepped forward to help Chabad thrive this year. They will match every dollar donated to Chabad during our 36-hour matching campaign. Your dollar will have double the impact!
You can be a partner in everything we do to benefit Judaism in Idaho by contributing to our campaign, and by spreading the word via email, social media and calling your friends and family.
If you are not able to contribute as much as usual, we ask you to please spread the word. Please ask family and friends who are in position to contribute, to please do so now.
Maimonides says that every good deed, no matter how small, tips the scale of humanity toward goodness. Today you have the opportunity to see the impact of that deed multiplied many times over.
Join us by donating today!
With deep appreciation,
Rabbi Mendel & Esther Lifshitz
