We are excited to announce that Chabad Lubavitch of Idaho has purchased a promising property for the Chabad Jewish Center! We are launching a building campaign! This spacious building, located at 1803 S. Maple Grove Rd. in Boise, will allow for many meaningful Jewish experiences. Hundreds more men, women and children will undoubtedly be inspired and infused with love and pride of their Jewish identity.
This property is a work in progress. The property is packed with potential, but is far from the vision of fully serving our community. We are planning several phases of making this building our home.
Upon completion, the 14,000+ square foot new Chabad Jewish Center will feature social, ritual, educational and administrative spaces. Fusing modern architecture with natural, Idaho themes and Jerusalem stone, this home for all Jews will be a landmark tribute to the past and an impressive, contemporary link to the future.
PURCHASE PROPERTY
Chabad Lubavitch of Idaho completed the purchase of a 9500+ SF facility on Maple Grove Rd. in 2017 for approximately $1,000,000.
Construction Phase 1: MIKVAH & KITCHEN ADDITION / RENOVATE EXISTING STRUCTURE
Renovate/Construct Hebrew School Classrooms, Ilai’s Library, new Youth Wing Entry/Lobby, Playground, Basketball Court, Sukkah Plaza, Mikvah, Commercial Kosher Kitchen, Restrooms, Multipurpose Room, and Administrative Offices.
Construction Phase 1 Goal: $4,000,000
Construction Phase 2: SYNAGOGUE ADDITION
New Entry and Lobby, historic new Synagogue, renovated Social Hall, upgraded Parking, and Landscaping.
