Matanot Levyonim form

Charity for the Poor

  • Matanot L'Evyonim Online

  • On Purim day, it is a mitzvah to give charity to at least two needy fellow Jews (this is known as matanot l'evyonim). Ideally, this should be done by giving money to people in your own community on Purim day.

Please join us and donate money to the poor this Purim. All donations will go to local charities and families in need.

Please donate by Friday, February 26 no later than 4 PM to provide enough time for funds to be distributed on Purim day.

It is customary to donate - at a minimum - enough to pay for a meal for each poor person. Additionally, every member of your household should donate this amount. (For example,  $10 per meal x 2 poor people x 3 household members = $60).
